Building education community is the core content of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, and it is the route that China must take to actively participate in global education governance and enhance its discursive power. Global education governance from the perspective of Western theory faces problems such as deviation from values, insufficient cohesion in governance systems, imbalanced governance power patterns, and deficiencies in governance models. The construction of the "Belt and Road" education community urgently needs theoretical breakthrough. The concept of a community with a shared future for mankind contains an interdependent view of international power, a view of mutual benefit and common interests, a view of mutual learning of civilizations that is "harmony in diversity", and a global governance perspective of consultation and collaboration for shared benefits, which coincides with the value connotation of the construction of the "Belt and Road" education community. The concept of a community with a shared future for mankind is conducive to reconstructing the value consensus of education governance, regulating the code of conduct of education governance, rationalizing the power and responsibility relationship among education governance subjects, and innovating the regional education governance model. The construction of the "Belt and Road" education community guided by a community with a shared future for mankind should enhance mutual knowledge and trust in education to reach a consensus on the value of education community, deepen mutual learning and appreciation to promote the construction of regional education cooperation and exchange mechanisms, enrich education governance entities and innovate collaborative governance mechanisms, and increase educational assistance to enhance the discursive power of education governance. |
